Annual de-lurking day is here!
I am hearby declaring this De-lurking Day on this blog. Have you been reading forever? Are you relatively new? Did you stumble here from a search about H1N1 and your pregnancy? Did you think it was a p*rn site with pictures of moms?
No matter how you got here -- now's your time to pimp yourself out! Please leave a comment, even if you want to tell me how bored you are by me, and include a URL to your blog if you have one.
I haven't updated my blogroll in that thar sidebar over yonder in about two years, seeing as I use my Google reader for my blog-perusing needs. I am also supremely lazy and read comments in my email, which doesn't include URLs from commenters, so this will be an awesome way to update both my own feeds and hopefully to introduce all of you faithful readers to some outstanding writers. In return, I promise to come and comment on every commenter's blog in the next week to spread all that love around.
Now, won't you share with all of us?

Just came across you today for the first time. I am a newbie at this, and I was searching out other mom blogs and I LOVE yours. Good stuff!

I am not a "mommy blogger" but I hope to be soon. I came across your site a couple of weeks ago through other blogs I read and had to read the archives. You are really funny!
I don't remember how I came across your blog, but I'm glad I did. It's nice to find a blog that doesn't make parenthood all sunshine and roses, and I appreciate your honesty that there are many days that just suck. I started my own blog today!
http://brandiinhd.blogspot.com
I guess I'm somewhat of a mommy-blogger, though mine are more apt to call me "mom" or "mother" now because they're 18 and 16. I have been reading your blog for quite some time and forgot how I stumbled across it, but it has been well worth it. And in an aside, I keep refreshing Snarky Daddy EVERY DAY but I keep getting the same result. No new posts! I hope everyone in your house fully recovers soon. I remember the days of sick kids while being sick and it was the pits. Who am I kidding? It's STILL the pits! Anywho, have a great weekend.
You know I read you all the time. :)

I got here via a link from Jennsylvania and so happy to have found it. No kids of my own, but I love pointing my childed friends in your direction and telling them "it's not just you..." Allow me to apologize if I've ever cut you off in traffic. Judging from some of your posts, I think we're in the same 'hood. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your "pig".
Love this idea Amy! I've been reading your blog for a while now (and your husband's blog, but I think you're funnier) and I really enjoy your sense of humor.
Just peeking in! My blog is here:
http://jstayrook.wordpress.com/
But I'm also around on Twitter:
@JentheAmazing
Glad you're healing from the oink oink!

I found your site from thebump's blogger contest! And clicked here through twitter... (I'm @babydickey)
My "baby blog" is:
www.milftobe.wordpress.com (yes, my hubby picked the name lol)
a former blogger, hung up my so called mommy blog for more time in front of the tv. =) cant remember how I found you, but love the reads!
I've been reading you since Josh live-blogged Emmie's birth. :) I believe I found out about that event through a MOMS Club friend of mine, Sara.
Your writing style cracks me up and I love that you don't sugar coat life with kids. :)
I've been reading for a while, but I'm a terrible commenter!

Can't wait to check out your new blogroll. I am always on the lookout for fun blogs to read!
I've been following for a while. I'm a mommy blogger for the most part and LOVE your sense of humor.

I have only been reading this site for about a week now, but I am hooked and I don't even have kids yet... You are hysterical :)
I found your blog through the bump contest.. I am a horrible blogger these days but am addicted to reading them.
http://www.mommywanna-be.blogspot.com/
New reader! I'm a fan of The Sarcasm.
I have been reading and referring people to you for way too long. I am sticking around because I want to see what Josh says for this birth. lol Oh, that and we are friends so it is nice to keep up with your happenings. Yeah, and maybe a little has to do with your writing and the fact that it cracks me up.
New reader! I'm a fan of The Sarcasm.
don't know how I found you, but I have been around for a bit, most likely lurking. HI.

Found your blog the day I met you - you remember, thinking you were sick from some food you ate. :)
Hope you are recovered soon. We'll miss you at dinner tonight.
http://roadtripmommy.blogspot.com
You know me! Love the blog! Jealous of how good you look pregnant. Met you in Chicago. Hmm, I guess that sums it up.
I found you through the bump blogger contest. You're a great writer & I love your sense of humor!! If only I could find such humor in all the little things to get me through each day!

I came across your blog when I was checking out the bump nominees. My family just had the oink oinks too.

I came across your blog from when you were nominated at thebump.com
My blog is called Hope Springs Eternal. It started off as a miscarriage recovery blog, then a TTC blog and almost a year later it finally became my mommy to be blog! I'm due January 2010.

Love to Lurk, and almost never comment. I cringe at my own writing 5 seconds after I post it.
You are the Queen of Snark!

I've been following you for a while now. I've had a few blogs since I started reading yours but my name is always the same :)
I'm not really a mommy blogger...more of a knitting blogger.
I wish I had enough readers to ask them to "de-lurk" but since I pretty much know all 12 of them - it's really not worth it! I love reading your blog and think I only really started commenting a few months ago. Not sure how I found you (or the other blogs I read) but am really glad I did!
http://lifeinmaggiesworld.blogspot.com
My Google reader told me to come here, and I do everything Google tells me to do.
Because, as in this case, it's usually right.
I blog at fruitsaladfamily.wordpress.com
I know you from the Feb2006 board, of course. I enjoy a peek at a life/parenting style rather different than mine.
I've been reading for about a month. I blog at http://www.givinguponperfect.com.
Hi, I don't even remember how I got here - maybe from someone else's blogroll? Anyway, you're in my reader. I guess I'm a lurker, then, hmm?
http://sayingnothingatall.blogspot.com - But the last thing I wrote about was a good friend of my brother's who died on Halloween, so I'm usually much more cheerful. Please don't think I'm all sadness and death all the time. :/
I don't have a blog...so, basically, just de-lurking cause you said to. :) I have been reading since way back when we all first met when we were pg together.
And...I've got nothing but love for ya....think you're hilarious.
~Nicole~
Yay for de-lurking! I'm a newbie to your blog -- found it recently on thebump.com nominees. I'm hooked! Great content - very entertaining. Hope u and ur kiddo feel better soon!

I think I've commented before, but I'm not positive. I enjoy reading your take on motherhood.
And I really love the snark!
Came across your blog via Jennsylvania. I find I relate to so much of it even though my kidlets are 10 and 12 now. Keep writing!
Leanne
Delurking, though I do occasionally post comments. Albeit infrequently. But I do always read your blog.

Also, holy random punctuation, Batman (in regards to my comment).
Can't remember how I found your blog (fairly recently), but now that I have, I cain't quit you.
Love the snarkiness.
I'm a mom, and a blogger, but don't know if I'm a "mommy blogger"....my kids are old enough now, I have to be careful of what I post
http://web.me.com/mkoenig4/Speechless/Blog/Blog.html
I just started following you because I love your name, as I am a trying to not be so snarky mommy! I would love it if you added my blog too!

I'm not exactly a lurker, but I want to say this is an awesome idea! I may steal it, but I'm not sure I actually have any lurkers, or readers beyond the five I know about, hehe. I found you through jennsylvania - and I have no idea how I got to that one randomly one day. But you ahve opened me up to a whole bunch of new bloggy friends (yourself included) so thanks! Hope everyone is feeling better
I have been reading for a bit. Just started a blog that no one knows about and no one visits yet!
It's about farm share stress. That is, the stress of what to do with all those vegetables in my farm share.....
www.leeksandbounds.wordpress.com
My husband came across your blog and the blog of your husband and loved them. He recommended that I read them so I do, and I really like yours a lot. My blog is Http://monkeybuttclan.blogspot.com
I started reading you when you were pregnant with Jack and here I am 1 and 3/4 kids later, still reading! I comment occasionally!
I was looking up prenatal cysts for a friend and got hooked.
Hello! I found your blog from The Bump blog awards this year. You are too funny. I am a new mom and have enjoyed reading your mommy stories. Here is my blog:

:)
Yes yes yes, I love to have people comment on my silly and boring posts!
I love your blog, its really funny!

I'm a mom to 3 and think you sum up life pretty well.

I stumbled on you a little while before you found out you were pregnant again. I found you through Gosselins without pity. I love to read how you are coping with two toddlers and a new one on the way. My kids are 10 and 17 so it brings a smile to my face to remember my children as toddlers when I read about yours.

You are freaking hilarious, and I tell my husband all the time about your "good times." LOVE your sense of humor. Just started blogging.
http//lifeinthematahouse.blogspot.com
I've been reading your blog for a while. I think I found it because of our shared cerclage experiences. I think you are an amazing writer and you make me laugh outloud alone on the couch quite often. Thank you!
http://seattlesunshinegirls.blogspot.com/
Amy
I found your blog a couple of months ago when I was looking up the history of the word "snarky" on the internet in an attempt to win a "discussion" with my husband. I laugh often while reading!
http://aidanandcompany.blogspot.com
I came across this site during a particularly hard time in my life. I had just lost my first pregnancy and was... not quite coping with my loss. I'll spare you the depressing/pathetic details of my depression, but I eventually realized I had to snap out of it and start laughing again.
I found you through Jennsylvania, and while I was hesitant to read anything about being a mom, the truth of the matter was that reading your entries about your experiences with motherhood made me feel better. One can only read so many inspirational stories about multiple miscarriages and stillbirths, so it was refreshing to see that as crazy as life is sometimes people can still laugh and roll with the cerclages.
So in short, thank you for all of the time you put into this blog, it really is wonderful.

I am also a faithful reader, but terrible commenter (is that nicer or not as nice as "lurker"?)
I don't remember how, but I stumbled across you about a month an a half ago and then Snarky Daddy. Love reading you both!
I found your site from the mommy blogger awards. Your profile made me laugh out loud, and I've followed you ever since!
www.strivingforfabuous.blogspot.com
I read the title of this is Anal de-lurking day :D
I do comment on occasion. Not often though. I've been reading you forever. I think I found you thru Life At 45 Degrees, but who knows! No kids here, so I live vicariously thru the mommy blogs I read.
I found your site from Jennsylvania. It's by far my favorite read of the week. My blog is about the kids...we live far from family.
thelittlesquirts.blogspot.com
My goodness, how much free time do you have? You are hereby forgiven if you go into labor before you make it to my blog!
I came across your blog because I have a crappy cervix too. I have been on strict bedrest now for almost 2 months (only 5 more to go!... ONLY) and your blog is part of my daily attempts to maintain some sort of sanity :-) It cracks me up!
You would think that my blog would be super-amazing by now (with all of the extra time on my hands) but No.... here it is anyway: www.lifeisflowers.com. Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy!
Hey Amy, I started reading right after I met you at the book signing for Dooce (the one with the mention of lady parts near the children's section)and the rest is history.
I have a little blog that I have not updated in a while. Mostly because no one reads it but me! Oh well. Here it is: http://lisasadventureblog.blogspot.com/
Hope you and the family are doing well. All that sickness stinks. Hope to see you soon, well after you have they baby an all!

You're so funny! I am a consumate lurker and now you've found me out. I love your blog. I check it every day. Tell Snarky Daddy that I lurk him too and he really needs to find more time for blogging. You are both hilarious!
You know, I don't remember how I found you! But I love your blog. You are a great writer and I love your tales of Mommydom.
Hello! I came across your blog when I was procrastinating on job applications and have been highly entertained ever since. I do not have children, never want children, but really enjoy reading about yours. Please keep your entries coming!
I also cannot believe how big/cute Jack and Emmie are!
I'm a day late but had to 'de-lurk' anyway - love your sense of humor and I, too, have children who wake up at the ass-crack of dawn... No fun!
I do check in to see how your family is doing! Love to hear the ups and downs... that's real life. Thanks for sharing it all!
Lisa
I have followed you since you were pregnant with Jack. Fertility friends...remember those days? My son William was born 7 weeks early on Jan. 26 2006. I was a March 06 mom. Your blog shows the good, the bad, and the wonder of parenthood. Having a son Jack's age has made your life so relatable to mine. Keep writing Amy. We love it!
Inge
you know I love you! xoxox
I found you from the Bump's blog awards and enjoy reading your posts while I drink my coffee in the morning. There's nothing like a little Snarky to start the day off right! :) Here's the link to my mommy blog.
http://www.lindsayandjared.com
(but in a few weeks I'm moving it to http://www.coloradomommy.com because now it's less about me and my husband and more about being a mommy!)
I found your blog from Jennslyvania. You are great.

I was introduced to your blog when a mutual friend of ours accidentally sent me the link over email when he meant to send to his wife (we have the same first name). He sent the link of Emmie's birth and I have been following ever since. Love your writing style and sense of humor!! I don't blog myself but very much enjoy your stories and attitude of motherhood!
i found ya through the bump awards! went to vote for another blog i read and saw that you had so many votes so i thought i'd check ya out! As a new mom I love all of your funny, keep-it-real banter :)

Ahh! You caught me :O The lurker from the great white north..
I've been lurkin 'round these parts for a while now..a couple months I think. Reading, laughing and loving the stories of your life..
Not really sure how I found you anymore..was just clicking around from blog to blog..stumbled here..and couldn't tear myself away...and have been lurking ever since.
I haven't been very good at blogging as of late..Life has been..a little hectic! I've been blogging for about 8 years on various websites now..both protected and public (depending on the material..ha! didn't want to get my butt fired!)..but my current blog can be found here:
http://thegirlwithcanadianadventures.blogspot.com
I found your blog at the blog awards page. I really enjoy lurking around your blog. I also appreciate your husband's blog.
http://jackbuchanan.blogspot.com
I found your site from thebump's blogger contest!
Me Too!
I love how you can make laughter out of not-so-funny things, as that is how I get through life. Parental life is wonderful, but it is not always perfect...
My blog is mainly for family to keep up with my little man, but I love it & I hope he does when he is older.
(in other words, don't feel like you HAVE to comment on it...)
http://snapshots-growingupm.blogspot.com/
I'm not quite sure how long I've been reading...at least 6 months or so. As for how I got here...that one is touhger, I read a bunch of blogs and somewhere along the way, someone had linked to you for something or else you were on FF and I clicked on the link in one of your posts. Either way I find your blog refreshing and funny while I waste time at work and isn't that what blogs are all about :)
http://newadventuresofjandj.blogspot.com/
That's my link....adventures with 16 1/2 month old twin boys, one of them peed on the floor last week....can it get better than that?
I'm not a blogger, but I have my "daily reads" in the mommy blog world, and your blog is one of them. Thanks for the giggles!
Celicia
Oh my gosh, I AM a lurker. Sorry! I should comment more. I read your blog every day. You crack me up!
I've been reading for quite a while...great blog!
www.seeohel.wordpress.com
I found you through Jennsylvania about a year ago and liked you so much that I read the archives! I am from Chicago but went to ISU for college and decided to stick around for grad school. You are right, Monicals is the only good thing about being down here! No kids yet but I have nephews just a little bit older than Jack so I can relate. I have been thinking of starting a blog but I'm nervous. Not sure why. Sorry for being a lurker but I wasn't sure of the protocol for introducing yourself to a blogger...
I can't remember how I got here (first time I said that while not intoxicated) but I've been reading SM faithfully for about a year. When I'm not working, running or changing diapers, I help my son update "his" blog, Oliver's Twist at:
http://olivers2wist.blogspot.com/
I think I found you by searching "mommy blogs" in Google. You were one of the first blogs I found that caught my eye and I enjoyed your writing style. The first one I read really reeled me in! I recently started my own: www.heavenlymommy.com. Please stop by!
Jen
Just started reading after seeing your blog on 'the bump' contest. We are also thinking of a 3rd so I am loving your posts about being pregnant with 2 other kids. Gives me some insight...I think I will wait to see how it all plays out before we start again. ;) I have a family blog, mostly for all of our family that live out of state and a scrapbook for me of my days as a SAHM. Hope you all are feeling better and best of wishes with the upcoming arrival!! Love your stuff!!
~Jenn
I dont remember how I found your blog (about 2 months ago)but I did! I so enjoy reading your posts! Keep it up!
oh and yes I have a few blogs but this is my usual haunt...

Hi! I've posted a few times, but not often...I found you through Jennsylvania at about the time our daughters were born (I think Emmie is a month older than my Camille), and I've been hooked! I tried my hand at blogging, but, also being supremely lazy, I quickly realized it's easier to read about someone else's life than write about my own!
I can't remember how I found you but I check in most days. You make mom-hood funny and real! Thanks!

I enjoy your blog, just not much of a commenter. I got here from Zoot.
Woohoo! I am there with Susie and think your blog is great. You can find me at

still lurking. its been a while on my blog, but maybe a comment will inspire me!
I came across your site a couple of months ago, via Jennsylvania, and, I must admit, I'm hooked! Even though I don't blog as often I should, here is the link to my own. Keep up the good work!
