In our house, Emmie plans to spend the Fourth of July holiday celebrating her freedom from tyranny. Case in point:

The fireworks in our neighborhood started Thursday night - and they haven't stopped. Because in our neighborhood, people celebrate all month long. It's great...
Just replace your daughter with a dog and that's pretty much my house.
